I know everyone is excited to see the rematch between Miguel Cotto vs Antonio Margarito this coming December 3rd at the Madison Square Garden in New York. May be some of you already pick who will be your winner on that fight between Cotto vs Margarito 2. So, I respect your choice and for me I have also my pick wo’s going to win on this Miguel Cotto vs Antonio Margarito 2 fight. I say it will be Cotto this time. Miguel wins and I will tell you why. Emmanuel Steward has Miguel stirring superior than ever. He moved brilliantly against Foreman. He moved well against Mayorga.
He will move well against Margarito. Aside from that he is using his jab more now than ever. He is boxing first and watching for a big punch second. Mayorga was able to avoid some shots. Margarito will not. Look for Miguel to try to keep the speed slow in his favor just as Shane Mosley did. I think this will be an amazingly prevailing fight for Miguel. It was easy to move against Foreman he had no legs or knees that fight, and as for Mayorga he has no footwork, I still think Miguel will beat tony for the other reasons as stated, cotto will have more then 1 game plan and will have tony fight his fight.
I think Margarito will have a moment or two but nothing close to the first fight. Margarito can walk forward all night but Miguel won’t be moving around the ring like last time out. I think he will keep it in the center of the ring and use adjacent movement and a stiff jab to keep Margarito at bay. When he does and get in close look for some ultimate body punching. I think the first fight took more out of Margarito then we all thought, I think he may have won the fight but lost the battle, since that fight he has looked slow sluggish, plus all the time off he has had in since the Mosley fight will have enormous effects on him.
I see Miguel plunging and Margarito grasping all night with Cotto may be receiving a late stoppage, also will be the true test to tell Cotto and us if what we all suspicious if Margarito was using filthy wraps, if his punches don’t have the same effect as they did in the first fight then we can pretty well say that Margarito used bandage in that fight and maybe all along- this is gonna be a great fight indeed I’m pumped to watch Cotto vs Margarito 2 Live.
